Liberty Science Center: Engineering Weekend 2026!

This past weekend on February 14th and 15th, QE attended the third annual Engineering Weekend, hosted by Liberty Science Center! QE members created and laser cut a STEM activity, winter olympic themed automata for kids of all ages to build and take home. We gave out and built these one on one automata for 400 children. We also brought our 2026 competition robot to work as an exhibition while having a live CAD display of our final CAD. QE brought back our XRP mini bots for Engineering Weekend, for attendees to drive with them through mazes. To follow with the winter olympics, attendees could drive Oscar who was in winter attire.
